Detail  At Gloucester, aged 61, Lieut.-General Sir Miles Nightingall, K.C.B. Colonel of the 49th regiment, and M.P. for the borough of Eye. This officer was appointed Ensign in the 52d regiment April 4, 1787; joined the additional company at Chatham barracks, and embarked in December that year to India.
