Detail  Near Katchhowrah fort, to the North of Bengal, Major Robert Nairne, of the 8th regiment of Native Cavalry, and son of the late Robert N. esq. formerly second in council at Fort Marlborough. He was killed by a shot from a match-lock, while leading on his regiment against a rebellious Zemindar.
