Detail  At Bridgewater, co. Somerset, suddenly while sitting in his chair, near 80 years old, the Rev. John Howel, minister of the Presbyterian congregation in that town. He was son of a yeoman of Pembrokeshire� [his son went to America, then ""as a trader on his own account, to China and Bengal; and died about two years ago, at Calcutta, having prepared a History of the Mahratta Wars; but he left behind him very little property""].
