Detail  At Rye, Sussex, Mr. John Haddock, merchant, eldest son of Capt. H. His death was in consequence of too great exertion in endeavouring to save the valuable part of the cargo of the Friendship East-Indiaman, stranded near the New Harbour. Distinguished for his noble acts of humanity, grief for his loss will be as extensive as his reputation, and as lasting as its remembrance.
