Detail  At Point de Galle, Lieut. Farren, of his Majesty's 73d regiment, after suffering for 14 months from a liver complaint and dysentry. While waiting for an opportunity of proceeding to Europe for his health, he was suddenly carried off by spasmodic cholrea, leaving a widow and infant son to deplore his loss.
