Detail  At Paris, Peter Andrew de Suffren Saint Tropes, bailey and knight of the order of St. John of Jerusalem, vice-admiral of France, knight of the King's orders, ambassador at Malta to his Most Christian Majesty, general of that order, commendeur of several priories, &c. He greatly distinguished himself in many gallant actions during the late war in the East Indies. Being a knight of Malta, he was buried in the Temple, on the 11th inst.
