Detail  At his seat in Hampshire, Lieut.-Gen. Sir Henry Clinton� [younger son of Lieut.-Gen. Sir Henry Clinton who died 1795. In June 1802 he was appointed Adjutant-general in the East Indies. He served in Hindostan until Oct 1804, saied from India March 1805. He married 23 Dec 1799 Lady Susan Charteris. She died d.s.p. 17 Aug 1816. Pages 172-174].
