Detail  Near Dinapore, in the East-Indies, on his way to the presidency, Lieut. col. Bruce, of the Bengal artillery. His Herculean strength was forced to yield to a violent attack of the liver, a disorder that too often proves fatal to our countrymen. In him the service loses an excellent officer, and society one of its brightest ornaments.
