Detail  On his passage home from the Jamaica station, after serving his country with honour and integrity 22 years, Lieut. Martin Brookes, youngest son of the Rev. Dr. B. of Shipton, co. Oxford, who also lost his eldest son in the army in the East Indies, who was at the time a demy of Magdalen college, and a graduate of Oxford.
