Inscription  cut off in the prime of his life and maturity of reputation, a gallant soldier a true honest man. This monument is erected by a few who having shared his friendship while living desire to pay a tribute to his departed worth and to perpetuate his mamory in this Christian Temple. Designed by His genius and reared by His hand. He died and was interred at Mandavie in Cutch.
