Remarks  Mr Patterson came to India as Assistant Engineer of the -Semiramis- and on Mr Johnston being obliged to leave the ship from ill health was promoted to Superintending Engineer. Mr Patterson is a well qualified respectable man and though sickly on first arrival has now good health.
