Remarks  [google translateion] Hannibal son of Mr William-Pierre Price and Dame Eleonore Sheppard his Wife, born the 28th of May 1785, and baptized the 2nd of the following Month; had for Godparents Messrs William Sheppard, and William Pierre Price Jun, and for Godmother Dame Jeanne Goguet. This extract from the Regitre des Batèmes de utte Pariusse is given as a true copy by me.

This varied accumulation represents the surviving records of the East India Companys management of its commercial shipping activity. The series L/MAR/C/669 and 670 deal with Certificates of Age, which were generally in the form of Extracts of Birth/Baptism from Parish Registers, Sworn Affidavits, Letters from Family and Relatives and Letters from ship Commanders.
