And Mary his wife daughter of the Revd Andrew and Sophie Wernicke pioneer missionaries born at Darjeeling 30th November 1844 died at St Leonards on Sea 29th August 1926. And Frederick Augustus Bruce Comley their son a tea planter of this district born 10 May 1869 died at Darjeeling 15th November 1923. Erected by their daughter and sister Mary Ella Grace Wren and her husband.
