Service  Captain Watson served at the taking of Jhansie in 38. Served in Cabul under Sir G. Pollock, in 42: present at the forcing of the Khyber Pass, and relief of Jellallabad, to the retaking of Cabul, Medal, including the affairs of Dacca, Mugeena Valley, Jugdulluck, Tazeen, and Huft Kootul. Present at the annexation of Oude, at the capture of the Toolsepore Rajah, after a forced march of 50 miles. Served under Sir E. Lugard in 58, against the mutineers at Jugdespore. Medal. Received the thanks of the Adjutant-General of the Army, for the capture of the Toolsepore Rajah.
