Commanded various parties of troops against the rebels near Mirzapore, during the Mutiny of 57. Medal. Commanded the 47th Native Infantry on Foreign Service at Canton, in 58, 59. Medal. (Received the special thanks of Lord Canning for services performed during the Mutiny.) |
