Was present during the Mutiny of 57, 58, in several affairs in the Muttra and Allyghur Districts; in the actions at Agra, 5th July and 10th October (wounded); at the siege of Lucknow and at the capture of the Fort of Birwa, during the operations in Oude, 58, 59. Medal and Clasp, and Brevet-Majority.
