Commanded a Detachment in pursuit of the Jullundur rebels, in 57. Received the special thanks of the Secretary of State for India, of the Governor-General, and of Sir J. Lawrence, for discovering and frustrating a plot formed by the Left Wing, 4th Native Infantry, in 58, to murder their Officers and all the Europeans in the Station. |
