Performed the duties of an Artillery Officer, and had charge of 1 eighteen-pounder and 2 nine-pounders at Gubbins out-post, during the siege of Lucknow, from July to November 57, and commanded the Native Artillery men there posted. Brought to notice of the Commander-in-Chief in the Despatch of Brigadier Inglis, 12th November 57. |
