Served with the 1st Sikh Cavalry with the Force under General Outram, at the Alum Bagh, from the 16th of January to the 2nd March 58, during the siege and capture of Lucknow, from 2nd to 21st March 58, including the action at the Moosa Bagh on the latter date (slightly wounded), and with General Grants Column in the operations in Oude. Present at the affair of Simree. Medal and 2 Clasps. |
