Service  Captain Moncrieff served with the Army of the Sutlej, 45, 46, and subsequent operations against Kangra. Medal. Served in the Sonthal Insurrection, 55, as Field Engineer. As Field Engineer served during the Mutinies, and received the thanks of Government, 15thOctober 57. Served against the rebels with the Naval Brigade, 58; as Assistant-Commissioner in charge of Singbhoom, and received the thanks of Government, 25th June 58, 30th June 58, and 19th July 58. Medal.
