Served in the Sutlej Campaign, 45, 46. Present during the occupation of Lahore. Served during the Sonthal Campaign, 55. Received the thanks of Government. Served during the Mutiny, 57. Brought back the men of the 45th Native Infantry, four different times, when they mutinied and marched away with the Colors and Arms. Received thanks in Brigade Orders for daring bravery on the 13th May 57.
