Served at the 1st and 2nd siege operations, and surrender of Mooltan, including the repulse of the enemys night attack on the British Camp at Mathe Ghol, 17th August 48; action of Sooroojkhoond, 7th November 48 ; attack on the suburbs of Mooltan, 27th December 48; and battle of Goojerat. (Wounded.) Medal and Clasp, and Brevet-Major.
