Commanded the Cavalry of the Centre Column of attack at the storming of the Heights of Punwaree, on the 29th December 58, at which operation all the enemys guns were taken, and their leaders killed. Commanded a Detachment of Cavalry and Infantry of the Rewah Contingent, attached to the Nowgong Field Force, during the operations on the left bank of the Kaen River, including the actions of Murruree and Saleia, and the pursuit and subsequent dispersion of the enemy on the 23rd March 59. Medal. |
