Service  Captain Holland served in the Sutlej Campaign, 46. Present at the battle of Sobraon. Medal. Served at Meerut during the Mutiny as A. D. C. to Major-General Penny, from July to December 57, the two latter months at Delhi. Accompanied Brigadier Seatons Column to Futtehghur, as Commissariat Officer, in charge of Head Quarters Camp. Served at the capture of Lucknow as Commissariat Officer of 3rd Infantry Brigade. Medal and Clasp. Accompanied the Force under Sir E. Lugard through Oude, to the relief of Azimghur, and in pursuit of Koer Sing to Arrah. Served with the Azimghur Field Force in. the operations against Koer Sings followers in the Jugdespore jungles. Mentioned in the Despatch of Sir E. Lugard, 6th July 58. Served with the Shahabad Field Force, from June 58 to February 59, under Brigadier Douglas, against the rebels in the Jugdespore and Shahabad Districts. Mentioned in the Despatch of Brigadier Douglas, 59.
