Jubbulpore, 17; Maharattah Campaign, 17, 18 ; siege and capture of Mundella, 18; commanded the 1st Infantry Brigade during the siege and operations in the vicinity of Mooltan; commanded the Force at the storming of the Dhurmsalla, on the 12th September 48, the whole of the reserves on the 7th November 48, at the battle of Sooroojkhoond, and the right reserve on the storming and capture of the City of Mooltan; commanded the 1st Infantry Brigade in the action at Goojerat, on the 21st February 49. Medal, 2 Clasps, and C.B.
