In Command of a Detached Company in charge of a fleet of 100 store and ammunition boats on the Irrawaddy, from Donabew to Prome; repulsed a night attack made on his boats at Morrio ; struck on the chest and contused by a spent ball. Present and served with the Flying Brigade after the occupation of Lahore, 46. Served throughout the Mutiny of 57, Present in the action near Agra, 5th July; also at the battle of Agra, 10th October 59, and other minor affairs. Medal. |
