Present at the action near Agra, against the insurgent Neemuch and Nusseerabad Brigade, 5th July 57, and in the action with the rebels at Oriya; served the whole of the hot weather Campaign of 58, against the mutineers in the affairs of Etawah, Mynpooree, and Shereghur Ghaut; was with the Moveable Column under Command of Colonel Riddel, which marched towards Gwalior to co-operate with the Central India Field Force under His Excellency General Sir Hugh Rose, in June 58. Medal. |
