Present at Prome, capture of Meeaday and Burmese stockade near Donebew, in March 53. Medal. As Assistant Quarter-Master-General to General Outram in the advance on Lucknow, in September 57. Actions of Munguwara on the 19th; Alum Bagh, 23rd; entry of Lucknow, 25th September; besieged in Lucknow to 18th November. As Assistant Quarter-Master-General to Sir C. Campbell on the withdrawal of Lucknow Garrison, November 57. Relief of Cawnpore and action of the 6th December 57. Medal, Clasps, and Brevet-Major.
