Commanded a Column composed of a Troop, 2nd Sikh Cavalry, his own Company, and a Troop Camel Corps and Detachments, Military Police, &c., &c. Was present at the actions of Huldwanee, 1st January 1858, and Chapooraha 10th February 1858, and expedition to Buhairee May 1858. Served with, and in Command of, numerous expeditions in Bundlecund and Saugor Districts against Dowlut Singh and other Rebels, also in Goona District. A captured gun passed over his left foot at Chapoorah, 10th February 1858, injuring it. Medal. |
