Service  Served throughout the Campaign in the Punjab, 1848-49. Present at the passage of the Chenab, and the actions of Chillianwallah and Goojerat, Medal and 2 Clasps. Served throughout the Indian Mutinies of 1857-58. Accompanied the Khakee Ressalah in every expedition, till the end of August 1857. Present with his Regiment at the battle of Agra, having joined Greathed's Column after the fall of Delhi, and served with it at Allyghur en route to Agra, with Colonel Cotton's Column at Futtehpore Sikree and the Agra Column towards Gwalior, June 1858. Accompanied Showers Column, and present at the action of Dorosa (14th January 1859) against Tantia Topee; also commanded 200 men of the 3rd Europeans under Major Hennessy in the Agra District, December 1858. Medal
