Inscription  Richard Harington Martin late Chief Engineer South Indian Railway And a lay reader of this church and a benefactor of St Johns Vestry School. And of his wife Elsie Sela a niece of the late Charles Cave-Browne died at Trinchinopoloy 1916. Both born 11 September 1881 died at Exmouth England 9th September 1963 and 16th February 1964
