CommentThese photographs were taken by members and friends of FIBIS who went on a Family History Tour of Southern India in 2015.

Inscription  This tablet is placed as a tribute of affection by J A Johannes Esquire of the firm of Johannes Brothers merchants of Madras over the mortal remains of Zechariah Johannes his eldest and beloved son who died 26th Sept 1859 aged 17 years and 1 month. Also those of his beloved mother Hagar Johannes who died 1st August 1862 aged 72 years and 7 months
