CommentComments by Liz Chater: I must urge caution when referring to the Church Register numbers. There are several instances where the numbers have been duplicated, and often they do not follow any logical numbering pattern, particularly around the 1940s when the church records were reconstructed after the war.

I have stayed true to the register numbers for each entry, even though I know, for instance, there are two entries under the number 378.
