Inscription  Lionel Bridge Captain and Brevet Major Royal Artillery Died at sea on his homeward passage from Madras 21st August 1866 aged 32? years He entered the Madras Artillery in 1845 served with the Ungool Field Force 1848 with the second expedition to Burmah 1852 and in the suppression of the Indian Mutiny 1857/8 For his services at the relief of Lucknow He received a Brevet Majority Annie Georgina Gordon Dearly loved child of Lionel and Kate Grant Bridge died at Bangalore 29th August 1864 aged 14 months and 12 days This Tablet is erected to the memory of her beloved husband and child by Kate Grant Bridge
