Register Entry  In Military Square Fort at the house of Mrs Yates Mr William Claudius Chapman aged 24 years. The death of this promising young man who devoted some years in the cause of the Scottish Mission of which he was an active and able Assistant under the kind and pastoral care of the Rev D Wilson will long be felt not only by his afflicted Widow who can never cease to forget his virtues but also by many of his friends and acquaintances
