Inscription  Judge of the Sudder Dewanee Adaulut at Bombay. His death was caused by an accident at Tannah while he was humanely assisting to extinguish a fire. His numerous friends placed in this cathedral a statue of him which has been removed to the Town Hall. His remains are interred at Tannah with those of his 2 sons. A bereaved widow records the loss of her beloved husband and children on this tablet. 1863.
