First Names  Gertrude May
Born  30 May 1889
Date of Death  26 October 1934
Inscription  ""On whose precious soul, sweet Jesus, have mercy. Member of the Third Order of St Norbert. Counsellor of the Sodality of the B V Mary. President of the St Elizabeth Society. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away. Asit hath please the Lord, so it is done; Blessed be the name of the lord. She was greatly renowned among all because she feared God very much; neither was there anyone that spoke an ill word of her. Active and careful she passed her days: she has honoured her husband. And behaved herself irreprehensibly. She has girded her loins with strength, she put out her hand to strong things; she opened her hand to the needy and stretched out her hands to the poor. She was an example to the faithful in piety. My dear Husband, relations and Friends: heaven has been opened to me. I pray for you who mourn for my loss. I am separated from you but I have not left you. Make it your duty to pray for the release of my soul. And you, my dear Brothers-in-law, remember me at the altar of the Lord. My Jesus , mercy. Mother of mercy pray for us. "" A token of undying love from your devoted husband Eugene.
