(with bar)Cavalry, Indian Army. Born 13th April 1871 killed in action during the Great War 26th October 1918. He served in Jaipur as inspecting officer of the Imperial Service troops from 2nd Oct 1911 to Sept 1914 when he proceeded to France as Senior Service Officer with the 1st Jodhpur Imperial Service Lancers in which capacity he served until his death. After 3 years in France he proceeded to Palestine and was killed in an attack on Haritan the last action of this campaign culminating in the defeat of the Turks. |
