Summary Remarks  Bengal Hurkaru â�� December 26th 1818. Letters from Husseinabad. One mentions that Lieutenant Johnson's cook was taken prisoner by the enemy but was released to convey a letter to the Subadar commanding the fort asking him to surrender. The Subadar declined this invitation and when Lieutenant Brandon later entered the fort found that it had been attacked three times during the night. Captain Roberts, our correspondent states, was slightly wounded in the affair near Futtihpoor.
