Signed Lord Cornwallis, Camp at Vencategherry, 24 miles west of Amboor, April 21st 1791. Lieutenant Colonel Maxwell and Major Skelly, the first having conducted the assault which was entrusted to his Direction with great spirit and ability, and the latter having on that occasion, led the European Grenadiers and Light Infantry of the Army, and highly contributed, by his own animated example, to their success.
