Summary Remarks  Tippoo Sultaun's two young sons arrived in camp as hostages for the treaty negotiations after his defeat at the siege of Seringapatam. They were received by Sir John Kenneway, who attended them to headquarters. Lord Cornwallis received them in his tent and they were formally delivered over to him by Gullam Ally Beg, the Sultan's Vackeel. Sir John Kenneway and Mr Cherry attended a meeting between Lord Cornwallis and the two princes as his Lordship's interpreters.
