The President, Vice President and Directors of the Male Asylum �. To the Public the annual state of the Institution and the funds for its support. The number of boys admitted upon the Foundation of this Charity is at present limited to one hundred. The expense per boy is 10 Rupees per month, one half borne by the Government, the rest defrayed by the public. There is a General Order to respective paymasters at different stations on the coast to receive the subscriptions to the Male Orphan Fund, and they are transmitted to Mr Bowden, the Treasurer at the Office of Michell, Bowden and Stevens, Fort St George. Applications for admission are made to Mr Hamilton, the Secretary, accompanied with certificates signed by Commanding Officers of Stations or Corps, but the school has reached the limit for number of boys.
