On the 28th of December, Purseram Bhow, with a detachment of the Bombay Army under Captain Little fell in with a body of Tippoo's Forces consisting of 10,000 infantry and 1500 cavalry which they routed. The action took place at Sinoot? about one hundred and twenty miles north west of Seringapatam.
