Summary Remarks  Captain Joseph Mackintosh of the Ship Fizeallum, received on board that ship from the Company's Stores at Madras a cargo of rice consigned to the Resident at Ganjam, to relieve famine there, the Governor and Council have received information that Captain Mackintosh did not make passage to Ganjam but proceeded instead to the Malabar Coast and also carried away several Lascars and Coolies from this port who were assisting in taking in the cargo., the Governor and Council consider this gross misconduct and Captain Mackintosh has forfeited all claim to the Company's protection and have resolved to forbid him from this port and if he returns here he shall be taken up and sent to Europe. Messrs John Cook, Alexander Hume and George Bryne, officers of that ship shall be considered in like manner. Signed C N White, Secretary.
