Inscription  Sacred to the memory of The Revd. Robert Burn, son of Major Gen. Andrew Burn, late Chaplain of this settlement born 18th April 1799. Born again 1814, ordained 1822. Died 17th January 1833. His witness is in Heaven . His memorial in the heart of all who knew him. Reader whatsoever thy hand findeth to do it with thy might for there is no work nor device nor knowledge nor wisdom in the grave whither thou goest.
