Inscription  Sacred to the memory of William Clark Farquhar, eldest son of the late Andrew Farquhar, who died at Singapore on the 13th March 1848, aged 22 years, 7 months & 23 days. This tablet is erected by a few of his friends in token of their affection and esteem for the deceased to whom he was well known as amiable and beloved in life patient in protracted sickness and peaceful in death as entrusting in that Saviour who says "" I will raise him up at the last day.""
