Inscription  Sacred to the memory of John Gordon Coulter, M.D., M.R.C.S.E., (Only son of the Revd. John Coulter, D.D. of Gilnahirk, County Down, Ireland) who died at Aenakhall in this district on the 5th October 1872, at the early age of 32 years. A skilful and humane physician, upright and honorable in all his actions. A warm generous friend and an honest and judicious helper and adviser in the many difficulties of life. His noble character endeared him to a very large circle of friends who deeply mourn his untimely end. By them this tablet has been erected as a last tribute to his many virtues and as a mark of the esteem and affection with which he was regarded and of the sympathy which is felt for his sorrowing relatives. Hios mortal remains are interred in the new cemetery on this station.
