With these he saw service against the 3rd, 36th and 61st Mutineers on the banks of the Sutlej, where he himself worked the only serviceable gun till ammunition failed; at the actions of Allygunj and Bareilly in Rohilcund, and in the districts of Philibheet, Shahjehanpore, Budaon and Farruckabid. |
