	Summary Remarks	Messrs Parry & Dare had a shipbuilding partnership with a Dane in Cochin named William Schuler. In 1820 they received a contract from the Commissioner to H.M. Navy at Trincomalee to build five 'King's Ships'. They were a schooner, three frigates of 28 guns and a tank ship.
