Summary Remarks  Letter from Sir Edward Hughes at Trincamalay to the Council of Madras. In the second engagement with the French Fleet under Monsieur Suffrain He dismasted two of his ships and took two frigates and three transports. The French have left for Achin or Batavia, and we are refitting to return to the Coast in eight or ten days.
